Brett Dowell is a licensed Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) with 20 years of experience in tax, accounting, audit, risk, compliance, and business operations roles. He has worked with organizations ranging from owner-manager businesses, to Fortune 1000 multinational enterprises across industries including technology, real estate, financial services, loyalty marketing and analytics, media, retail, manufacturing, hospitality, and communications.

At the core of Brett’s approach is a dedication to building trusted, long-term relationships by providing thoughtful tax planning, reliable support, and hands-on guidance that helps clients navigate complexity and grow with confidence.

Beyond his professional practice, Brett is an active community and sports leader. Past volunteer work included various roles on the Board of Directors of the Weston Golf & Country Club as Chair of Governance, Vice-Chair of Long-Range Planning and Golf, and as the Club Vice-Captain.

Brett is also a High-Performance 1-certified hockey coach, worked with Hockey Canada’s U-15 Program of Excellence and enjoyed watching many past athletes he has coached achieve success at the junior, collegiate, professional, and Olympic level. Outside of his professional life, Brett values time with his wife and two daughters, enjoys hands-on DIY construction projects, and keeps active through hockey and golf.
